I awoke this morning and read this in Romans Chapter 1 verse 16

“I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ!”

We have this liberating power. I have liberating power! I have power to bring freedom to any situation!

It is this liberating, freedom bringing power that I know rests on any true prophetic word, whether that is by a painting, a spoken or written word, a song or photo.

There is a power that saturates a revealed word of God. It is a transferable power in that it can be infused into a physical, tangible object. In the book of Acts (a history of the apostles and disciples), it says “that even the handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him (Paul) were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them” (Chapter 19 verse 12).

It is a tangible, transferable power that when someone or something is exposed to, brings utter and complete freedom.

I am hungry for this power to be unleased in my creativity. I so desire to enable the Holy Spirit to move freely through me and into the work of my hands. I wish to see peoples lives changed, to experience His kingdom; not religion, but true freedom and joy.

My wife Jenny reminded me this morning of what is said in the book Hababakkuk (one of the prophets in the bible) Chapter 2, where it says “Write the vison and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it”. My tablet is my laptop, and my website and my canvas. 🙂

I declare that as you read this word, this same power will be manifest in your life!
